How your role will contribute to the team:

You will be responsible for assisting with various duties within our organization. Collaborate with our web department to promote NBCS on social media platforms and Google. Revise, maintain, and update client websites. Basic social media skills are preferred, such as wording small blurbs or editing and uploading photos.

Strong social and sales skills are required for this position.

What an average week will look like:

You will assist various team departments as needed to complete the following:

Web Department

  • Strong written skills;
  • Updating information and creating content for client’s websites;
  • Creating social media posts;
  • Basic backend website updates; and,
  • Assist with sales meetings.

Administration

  • Organizing and sorting documents;
  • Answering the phone, booking calls, and responding to emails;
  • Client support;
  • Writing letters and professional emails; and,
  • Cleaning.

Technology

  • Assist technicians with various tasks as needed;
  • Help staff with internal systems tasks;

Other

  • Miscellaneous tasks as needed.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

A flexible and quick learner.

Strong organizational skills.

Familiar with working on a computer. You must have the ability to navigate to programs and resolve computer issues. You will be required to work with Adobe Photoshop and have a basic understanding of photo editing.

Understand instructions and work independently.

Basic knowledge of WordPress, internet and website structure, and design.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Experience with making invoices and basic recordkeeping.

Able to learn independently and a desire to improve skills continually.

Basic social media and online skills such as researching effectively, and knowing where to go to find the information needed.

 

ADDITIONAL ASSETS PREFERRED:

Bilingual (English and French)

Previous website design, development, or implementation knowledge.

Full Adobe Suite experience.

Previous social media marketing skills.

Strong sense of curiosity and willingness to learn new challenging skills.

Experience with Google Analytics.
