VoIP Phone Systems 911 Disclaimer
For Business VoIP Phone Systems
Please carefully review the following information regarding your VoIP telephone system.
Your location (street number, address, town, and country) is registered through your telephone services, and this information is forwarded to emergency dispatch when you call 911. This indicates where emergency services should be dispatched to in the event that the caller is unable to vocalize their location. Because of this it is vital to notify NBCS of any change of a phones physical address. If you move a telephone from one building to another you must let North Bay Computer Services know so that we may update your address record. This process is vital if you need emergency services and are unable to vocalize your distress.
North Bay Computer Services will not be held accountable for clients who fail to update their address records in writing. To make an account change please see our contact information below.
Your physical location will be shared if you call 911, but will not be shared with any other phone call that you make. For this reason other emergency numbers will not work with this function.
If an account is in arrears for over 90 days your phone services will be discontinued. The only number you will be able to connect to is 911 if needed.
